The Intensive Care Unit has a capacity of 12 beds with a pioneering circular arrangement. It operates in the aseptic environment of a single space with 24-hour monitoring by the specialized nursing staff, and a surgeon-ICU specialist.
The space is equipped with 12 modern electronic ICU beds with air mattresses, respirators for mechanical respiratory support, BiPAP, vital signs monitors, ultrasound, blood gas analyzer, defibrillator, bronchoscope, feeding pumps, drug delivery pumps, central monitoring consoles.
Patients with respiratory failure and / or hemodynamic instability, or other diseases, such as: myopathy after ICU discharge, patients with severe brain damage, patients with tracheostomy, patients after severe infections, multi-trauma patients and patients in dialysis can be treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
