Musculoskeletal Health Day is celebrated on 30th September every year. Musculoskeletal disorders are common abnormalities of the back, neck, shoulders and (upper) limbs.
Symptoms can range from discomfort and pain to forced interruption of daily activities and receiving appropriate treatment.
As is well known, prevention is better than cure. . For this reason, in case of sudden discomfort or pain, early preventive check-ups by a doctor are very important. In addition, special attention should be paid to correct posture.
f a person is living a sedentary lifestyle, standing up every two hours is necessary in order to restore muscle and joint mobility. If the person is standing for prolonged periods of time, the spine should be straight, the shoulders should be held back and the neck upright, balancing body weight equally on both feet.
Maintaining a balanced lifestyle, proper nutrition, exercise and positive mental attitude, musculoskeletal disorders are prevented, improving quality of life.
